Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 May 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the parking services provided by Girasole d.o.o., Hrvatskih mučenika 1, 21220 Trogir, OIB: 96081400189 ("we", "us", "our"), operating the Split Airport Parking lot at Cesta Pape Ivana Pavla II 341, Kaštel Štafilić 21217, Croatia. By making a reservation or parking your vehicle at our lot, you ("the Customer") agree to these Terms.
Reservations & payment
Reservations can be made by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email and are confirmed only after we reply with an explicit confirmation. Quoted prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable. All payments are made by bank transfer to the account of Girasole d.o.o. (we do not accept cash or card payments on site). Daily rates are settled by bank transfer on arrival or on departure; long-term packages (1 month, 6 months, 1 year) are paid by bank transfer upfront in full at the start of the parking period, and the parking period begins on the agreed start date even if the vehicle is delivered later. We may refuse a reservation or refuse to accept a vehicle at our sole discretion (for example if the lot is full, the vehicle is unsafe, or the Customer has a history of unpaid stays).
Minimum stay & duration
The minimum stay for daily-rate parking is 5 days. Both the day of arrival and the day of departure are counted as full days, regardless of the time of arrival or departure. If the Customer collects the vehicle later than the agreed end date, the additional days are charged at the standard daily rate and are payable on collection. Long-term packages are non-refundable in part or in full once the parking period has started, including in cases of early pick-up or non-use.
Free airport transfer & shuttles
Transfer to and from Split Airport (SPU) terminal or Trogir is included in the parking price at no extra cost: one free drop-off from our lot on arrival, and one free pick-up from the same location on your return, are included with every reservation. Transfer times are coordinated with our staff and depend on operational availability; we recommend confirming your return pick-up time as soon as you have it and allowing at least 30 minutes from your call. Additional drop-offs, transfers to marinas (Trogir, Kaštela, Split, Rogoznica, Primošten, Šibenik) and other destinations can be arranged on request and may be subject to an additional fee, agreed in advance. We are not liable for missed flights, ferries or other connections caused by traffic, weather or any cause outside our reasonable control.
Cancellations & no-shows
Daily-rate reservations may be cancelled or modified free of charge by contacting us at least 24 hours before the planned arrival time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival, or no-shows without prior notice, may forfeit the reservation and any deposit paid. For long-term packages already paid in advance, cancellations and refunds are not possible once the parking period has started.
Vehicle condition & customer responsibilities
The Customer warrants that the vehicle is roadworthy, properly registered and insured (including valid liability insurance) and in safe technical condition, with no fuel, gas, oil or other fluid leaks, no damaged battery or fuel system, and that the parking brake is functional. Vehicle keys are NOT handed over to our staff: the Customer parks the vehicle personally in the assigned space, keeps the keys at all times, and our staff do not drive or move the vehicle. The Customer must remove all cash, jewellery, electronics, documents and other valuables from the vehicle before parking and must declare any non-standard contents (pets, perishables, hazardous materials, firearms, large amounts of fuel in jerry cans, lithium batteries, etc.). The following are prohibited inside parked vehicles: live animals, perishable goods, flammable or explosive materials beyond the vehicle's standard fuel tank, illegal substances, and any item the storage of which would breach Croatian law. Electric vehicles must be delivered with at least 20% state of charge; we do not provide EV charging unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Liability
Our parking lot is fenced, lit and monitored by CCTV with on-site staff 24/7. The service we provide is the rental of a parking space only; it is not a custody (bailment) service. Because vehicle keys remain with the Customer at all times and the vehicle is not entrusted to us, we are NOT responsible for any damage to the vehicle or its contents while parked on our lot, regardless of cause, including but not limited to: (a) force majeure such as storms, hail, lightning, earthquake, fire, flood, war, civil unrest or pandemic-related restrictions; (b) acts or omissions of third parties, including other customers, trespassers or public authorities; (c) theft, attempted theft, vandalism or break-in; (d) collision, scratches, dents or paint damage caused by other vehicles or persons on the lot; (e) pre-existing damage, mechanical defects, battery discharge, tyre deflation, fluid leaks or wear and tear; (f) any cash, jewellery, electronics, documents or other items left inside the vehicle; (g) damage to roof boxes, bicycles, surfboards, antennas or other accessories mounted on the vehicle exterior; (h) consequential or indirect losses such as missed flights, lost income, alternative transport costs or accommodation. The Customer is responsible for maintaining their own comprehensive (kasko) and theft insurance. Garage spaces are available on request and subject to availability; no guarantee of garage placement is made unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
Damage reporting & insurance
We strongly recommend that the Customer photograph the vehicle on arrival and on collection to document its condition. Any incident noticed on collection should be reported to our staff before the vehicle leaves the lot. The Customer's own comprehensive (kasko) and theft insurance is the sole cover for any incident affecting the vehicle; we will cooperate in good faith with insurers and provide CCTV footage where it exists and where the law allows, but providing such footage does not constitute an admission of liability on our part.
Abandoned & uncollected vehicles
If a vehicle is not collected within 14 days after the agreed end of the parking period and the Customer cannot be reached at the contact details provided, the vehicle is considered abandoned. We reserve the right to charge the standard daily rate for each additional day, to relocate the vehicle at the Customer's cost, and after a further written notice and a reasonable period to take any lawful action available under Croatian law (including, where applicable, sale to recover unpaid charges).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably. If no agreement is reached, the competent court in Split, Croatia shall have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force at the time of the reservation applies to that stay.
